What is illuminance?
When the lighting lights upon an object, we say surface of this object is being illuminated. The lighting level of the surface is measured by illuminance, and the illuminance is the amount of luminous flux per unit area (total luminous flux incident on a surface divided the acreage of the surface).
The origin of light distribution angle
The light distribution curve has a half-light intensity angle of 26° and belongs to a rotationally symmetric light distribution.
(The half-light intensity angle is the half-value angle, which is the normal direction of the center of the light source, and the angle of 50% of the maximum cd value.)
The maximum intensity value of the luminaire *0.5 and the intersection of the light curve is the angle of the obtained light type.

Wallwash light type curve
Wallwash is asymmetrical lighting pattern, continuously splicing multiple wallwash can offer great uniformity for a space from the top ceiling to the bottom with impressive spacious atmosphere; Wallwash is particular suitable for large flat exhibits and anaglyph artworks.
