The Xinjiang Museum is one of the first batch of national first-class museums. It is an art palace that collects Xinjiang's historical and cultural artifacts and displays unique cultural features of the region, including silk, wool, cotton and linen fabrics, documents and slips written in multiple languages, and wood carvings from the Jin and Tang Dynasties, clay figurines and figures on paper and silk, flower and bird paintings, bronzes with Scythian cultural characteristics. In addition, there are some paleontological fossils and ancient corpse specimens.
